Biographies of Hanadi Al-Samman

Hanadi Al-Samman is an associate professor of Arabic Language and Literature in the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on contemporary Arabic literature, diaspora and sexuality studies, as well as transnational and Islamic feminism(s). She has published several articles in Journal of Arabic Literature, Women's Studies International Forum, Alif: Journal of Comparative Poetics, and chapters in a variety of edited collections. هنادي السمان انها تدرس اللغة العربية والأدب في قسم اللغات والثقافات في الشرق الأوسط وجنوب آسيا في جامعة فرجينيا. تركز أبحاثها على الأدب العربي المعاصر، ودراسات الشتات والحياة الجنسية، فضلا عن النسوية عبر الوطنية والإسلامية. وقد نشرت العديد من المقالات في مجلة الأدب العربي، المنتدى الدولي للدراسات النسائي: مجلة الشعرية المقارنة، وفصول في مجموعة متنوعة من المجموعات المحررة.
