Biographies of Zeina Maasri

Dr. Zeina Maasri is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Humanities and the Course Leader of the interdisciplinary BA degree War and Conflict. She convenes the postgraduate module ‘Global Issues in Graphic Design’ on the MA History of Design and Material Culture and coordinates the undergraduate option pathway Globalisation, History and Identity. Before taking up her post at Brighton, Maasri was both a successful graphic designer and an academic at the American University of Beirut (1999 – 2016) in Lebanon. الدكتورة زينة معصري هي محاضرة أولى في كلية العلوم الإنسانية وقائدة الدورة التدريبية في الحرب والصراع متعدد التخصصات في درجة البكالوريوس. تعقد وحدة الدراسات العليا "القضايا العالمية في التصميم الجرافيكي" حول تاريخ الماجستير في التصميم والثقافة المادية وتنسق مسار الخيار الجامعي Globalisation والتاريخ والهوية. قبل توليها منصبها في برايتون، كانت مصري مصممة جرافيك ناجحة وأكاديمية في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت (1999-2016) في لبنان. انتقلت إلى المملكة المتحدة للحصول على درجة الدكتوراه الممولة بالكامل من جامعة برايتون (2013-2016).وقد شاركت في الفوز بجائزة كتاب جمعية الصداقة البريطانية الكويتية لعام 2021، دراستها الأخيرة بعنوان الراديكالية العالمية: السياسة البصرية في الستينات العالمية في بيروت (مطبعة جامعة كامبريدج 2020). ومن بين المنشورات الأخرى، هي...
