Ashjan Hendi is a poet and scholar from Saudi Arabia. She completed her Ph.D. in Arabic literature at SOAS, University of London. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of modern Arabic literature and criticism at King Abdul-Aziz University, Saudi Arabia. She has received a number of poetry awards from Arab institutes. Selections of her poems have been translated into English, Spanish, and German.
