Biographies of Nora Lester Murad

Nora Lester Murad is a writer, educator, and activist. She co-authored Rest in My Shade: A Poem About Roots with Danna Masad and edited I Found Myself in Palestine: Stories of Love and Renewal From Around the Globe (both from Interlink Books). Her young adult novel, Ida in the Middle (Crocodile Books), is about a Palestinian-American girl’s search for belonging (see www.idainthemiddle.com). نورا ليستر مراد، أستاذة مشاركة غير متفرغة في جامعة فوردهام. شاركت في تأسيس مؤسسة دالية، وهي أول مؤسسة مجتمعية فلسطينية، وتأسيس مبادرة متابعة الدعم الدولي لفلسطين، وهي مبادرة مجتمعية لمساءلة الدعم والمساعدات. لها كتابات عديدة في مواضيع الدعم الدولي والعمل الخيري المجتمعي منشورة في وسائل إعلامية مثل صحيفة الغارديان، والجزيرة، وهافينغتون بوست، وموندويس، وأوبن ديموكراسي، وكاونتر بانش، وفي مدونتها:www.noralestermurad.com . ألفت كتابها الأول بعنوان Rest in My Shade (تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، 2018) وهو عبارة عن أشعار عن النزوح واللجوء، تعرض فيه أعمال 18 فنان فلسطيني حول العالم.
