The Palestine Question and the American Context

in this work, edward said analyzes the u.s. political arena and u.s. society, with regards to the palestinian cause. he demonstrates that there is an important difference between the stance of the political elite and that of civil society which is more receptive with regards to the rights of the palestinian people. he argues that it is necessary for the palestinian media and political movements to target u.s. civil society to a greater extent.
