Queerness in the SWANA region

The Queerness in the SWANA region list attempts to shed light on LGBTQ+ authors and stories and unveil their long-standing presence in our communities. The books included here explore gender, sexuality, marginalization, alienation, love, and belonging through autobiographies, fiction novels, academic writing, poetry, and even children’s books.
