Since 1930, Denoël has been offering engaging French & foreign literature, as well as essays & documents. Through its various collections, the house publishes about fifty titles per year. In French fiction, Denoël has always played a role of discoverer, both in the field of literary novels and in thrillers and adventure novels. In foreign fiction, a major place goes to the literary novel (Arto Paasilinna, Mark Z.
