In 1991, “Dar Al-Saqi” was established in Beirut, and it became the institution that took upon itself a mission for the foundations, intellectual modernity, and the renaissance of Arab culture. Al-Saqi seeks to be an exhibition for the establishment of the Western and Arab Jives. In 2012, the “Al-Saqi” was established for children and young people and included them in reading in Arabic under the slogan “Reading is as delicious as playing.” May Ghossoub passed away in 2007, and Andre Caspar is today the publisher and owner of the house.
